Admission Requirements
All Lewis & Clark graduate applicants are required to fulfill the graduate school’s general admissions requirements in addition to program-specific requirements. Please carefully review both sets of requirements to fully understand the expectations for admission. Only complete applications can be considered.
General Admission Requirements for All Programs
These four admission requirements pertain to all degree programs, license-only programs, endorsements, and certificates at the graduate school.

-
Application
Lewis & Clark uses an online application. You will be able to upload your resume and other application materials such as essays and portfolio when required. However, transcripts must be sent directly to the graduate school. We will accept official e-transcripts sent by college and university registrar offices.
-
Application Fee
A $50 nonrefundable application fee is required. The fee is payable with a credit card or electronic check. Application fee waivers are available to Lewis & Clark alumni; current students enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences; and participants in special programs. -
Transcripts
One official transcript must be submitted from each post-secondary institution* attended regardless of the length of study or the number of courses taken. This includes all college level credit earned while in high school or while participating in study abroad programs. Failure to submit official copies of all transcripts may result in the withholding of your application for consideration. Transcripts stamped “Issued to Student” will not be considered official.
Graduates of a non-U.S. university system are required to provide officially evaluated and translated copies of all their college transcripts. Official evaluations and translations are done by outside agencies. Information regarding three such agencies can be found by going to International Applicants.
*If you are applying to a program that requires a master’s degree: we require official, degree-posted transcripts from institutions where you earned your undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as any post-baccalaureate credits earned. -
