Admissions Ambassador: Contact Angie

Angie Hamilton Hi, I’m Angie! I grew up in a small town in New England, took coursework primarily in Music and Native Hawaiian Studies during undergrad, and worked in Higher Education for a decade before starting at Lewis & Clark. As a result, I know how to drive when it snows in Portland, can put together a killer playlist, and have a keen interest in helping others through their identity development. I came to L&C because social justice is a core tenet of the program and as a prospective student every person that I interacted with made me feel supported and excited about my future. Before coming here I thought that grad school was a solitary/competitive environment, but I’ve found there is a vibrant social community on campus. I’m passionate about community involvement and serve on the leadership team of the Graduate Queer Student Association.
