Leigh Stewart

Hello! My name is Leigh (she/they) and I am currently a 2nd-year graduate student in the Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy program at Lewis & Clark. I am originally from California however, I moved to Portland several years ago and consider Oregon home. I have been with L&C Problem Gambling services for almost a year now and have been working with individuals, couples, and families who are negatively impacted by gambling addiction. I was drawn to this profession after recognizing the healing potential that can arise from relational contexts. With addiction and mental health challenges, I find that involving family and concerned others can bring about meaningful changes that support recovery. Supporting the gambling recovery community and advocating for public awareness of this addiction is an important value that drives my work here. I am eager to continue this work and support individuals and families in their experiences with recovery.
