Book Renewals
Sometimes you need a book for longer than the 6 weeks for Summit items and 3 weeks for ILL items, but both services do not allow renewals. Before the due date, request the item again through Summit or ILL so you can return the first copy on time and have another request already in process. Please keep in mind that some items may not be available to borrow again because the material is rare or popular and any of the other reasons a request is denied. While you have the item in hand be sure to scan or copy the most important part of the text just in case we cannot borrow another copy for you.
