Our programs explore the full range of questions that vex and inspire counselors and educators as they work to enrich and enhance people's lives. We combine academic and field study in dynamic learning environments in three departments: Counseling Psychology, Teacher Education, and Educational Leadership. Our students enter their professions confident and prepared.
A unique feature of our professional programs is the Core curriculum requirement for degree-seeking students. With its interdisciplinary design, the Core curriculum provides an intellectual bridge between individual program offerings and an opportunity to explore the Graduate School's "core" values of creativity, compassion, and commitment.
We also offer a host of continuing education opportunities to support the professional and personal growth of practicing counselors, educators, and writers, as well as intellectually curious community members.
