Alum named Oregon art educator of the year for 2011
Alumna Janice Packard MAT ’94, a teacher at Estacada High School, was named Oregon’s art educator of the year.

The Oregon Art Education Association named Janice Packard MAT ’94 the 2011 art educator of the year. A teacher at Estacada High School in Estacada, Oregon, since 1997, Packard earned top honors for her extraordinary teaching, her commitment to her community, and her dedication to her own art.
Packard works with her students to display their art in festivals and competitions, and she has been known to mentor them for years after they graduate.
