Programs for Prospective Teachers
Our outstanding 13-14 month programs prepare you to become a skillful teacher and an agent for positive school reform. Your preparation leads simultaneously to a teaching license and a master’s degree.

MAT Elementary Program
For beginning educators in elementary and middle school (grades prek-8)
MAT Secondary Program
For beginning educators in middle and high school (grades 5-12)
MAT w/ ESOL Endorsement
Allows beginning teachers to earn an ESOL endorsement alongside their MAT degree
On-Demand Info Session
Lewis & Clark’s graduate programs leading to PK-12 degrees, licensure, and endorsements are approved by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC).
