Submit your nomination for graduate commencement speaker by January 25

Nominations are now open for the graduate student commencement speaker. The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, January 25th. (This year’s graduate school commencement ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2019.)
If you or someone you know is eligible to participate in this June’s Lewis & Clark Graduate School commencement ceremony and are interested in representing the student voice during the celebratory event, you are invited to complete the nomination form.
Nominations will be accepted through Friday, January 25th. Nominees will be contacted during the week of January 28th with directions on submitting drafts of their 3-minute speeches (which will be due by Friday, February 8th). From the drafts, a pool of finalists will be identified. Following readings by the finalists with the student commencement speaker selection committee (the morning of Wednesday, February 27th), the student speaker will be selected.
