Family Therapy in the Treatment of Eating Disorders
Date: 9:00am - 5:30pm PST January 19
This course will cover the topic of disordered eating and eating disorders in children.
Family therapy treatment strategies including the Maudsley method and other approaches will be discussed.
Additional focus will be placed on ways to foster healthy eating and positive lifestyle choices in families.
This course is part of our Eating Disorder Certificate Program.

About the Instructor
Zanita B. Zody, PhD, LMFT works as a therapist for Sundstrom Clinical Services in West Linn, Oregon. She is a registered supervisor in the state of Oregon with extensive experience in the prevention and intervention of eating disorders and their common co-morbid conditions. She is the former Clinical Director for Monte Nido and Affiliates where she managed three of their eating disorder treatment facilities. She received both her MS and PhD from Purdue University.
