Sexual Violence Climate Survey

On Wednesday, April 8th you will receive an email invitation to participate in an online survey designed to help the College understand students’ perceptions of the climate of unwanted sexual contact, how the College addresses and responds to sexual violence, and how often students experience sexual violence.

 Dear Lewis & Clark students,

I am writing you today to let you know about an important opportunity to share your perspectives about sexual violence and the campus climate.   On Wednesday, April 8th you will receive an email invitation to participate in an online survey designed to help the College understand students’ perceptions of the climate of unwanted sexual contact, how the College addresses and responds to sexual violence, and how often students experience sexual violence.

All responses will be anonymous and confidential. No attempt will be made to trace any response to any individual because it will be impossible to do so. The results will be shared in aggregated, summary form only.  Participation in the survey is voluntary.

We hope that every student at Lewis & Clark will participate in this important survey, regardless of whether or not they have experienced unwanted sexual contact or sexual assault. We will use the results of this survey to inform and improve support, policies, and practices at Lewis & Clark.

If you have questions about this survey, you may contact Mark Figueroa, Associate Provost for Institutional Research, at figueroa@lclark.edu, or Kirsten Skillrud, Research Analyst and Survey Manager at the Higher Education Data Sharing Consortium, at skillruk@wabash.edu

Be Well,

-Janet Bixby, Associate Dean
