Late Course Add / Withdrawal

Students dropping a course after the add/drop period or adding a course after the first day of class after the add/drop period are considered late and must submit a Late Course Add/Withdrawal Form. The dates for the add/drop periods are published on the Graduate School Academic Calendar web page.

Students dropping to zero credits must submit a Leave of Absence/Withdrawal Form and not a Late Add/Withdrawal Form.

To request to withdraw from a course after the add/drop period or add a course after the first day of class after the add/drop period, students need to submit a Late Course Add/Withdrawal Form, available at the bottom of this page. Students may add a class using WebAdvisor up to the first day of the course even if it is after the add/drop period and avoid paying the late add fee.
