Enrollment Verification

An Enrollment Verification Form serves as documentation that a student is currently enrolled at the Graduate School for a particular semester(s) as a full-time, half-time or part-time student. This form is frequently requested to prove enrollment for loan deferments, for employers, or for verifying student status to insurance companies. Our Enrollment Verification Forms are signed by a school official and serve as a replacement for the “enrollment certification” portion of any form you receive from such companies or agencies.

Verifications will not be done for future Semesters. Verifications for current students will be processed following the end of the Add/Drop Period.

There are three ways to request an enrollment verification form, in person, by fax, or by mail. For your convenience, you may use our Enrollment Verification Request Form (PDF format) which you can print, fill in the necessary information, sign and then fax or mail to us.

IN PERSON REQUEST for Enrollment Verification.

Stop by the Graduate Registrar’s Office, Rogers Hall Room 301, Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Verifications are available immediately as long as you have proper photo identification.

FAX YOUR REQUEST for Enrollment Verification.

We will mail your enrollment verification within two to three business days.

NOTE: In lieu of using the standard request form in the link above, you may prepare a written statement and provide the following information:

1. Your name as it appears on College records

2. Your student identification number (LC ID or social security number)

3. Complete mailing address where the verification is to be mailed

4. Specify which semester, or semesters are to be included in the verification

5. Telephone number and e-mail or mailing address in case we need to contact you

6. Your signature must be on your request

Current students with active WebAdvisor accounts can view the status of their enrollment verification requests by selecting the Enrollment Verification Request Status option on WebAdvisor.

National Student Clearinghouse

Lewis & Clark College uses a service called the National Student Clearinghouse. Outside agencies, such as credit card companies, travel companies, consumer product companies, and employers contact the Clearinghouse for enrollment verification.
