Five master’s degree students from the Counseling Psychology department have published an article in the Journal of Feminist Family Therapy. Tiffany Graves, Francesca Barnett, Johanna Hall, Erin Haley, Justin Rock, Amber Bathon, and Bethany Kaiser were all in the Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy Program and earned Master of Arts degrees in 2009. Working with the program’s director, Teresa McDowell, they designed and tested the critical genogram, a training tool that helps family therapists understand the impact of social, political, and economic systems on individual and family life.
