D Liz Quayle BA ’82

D Liz Quayle BA ’82, after 21 years as director/teacher in a K-12 alternative program in Port Townsend, Washington, has joined the alternative learning department at Washington State’s Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction. She lives in a 1917 schoolhouse with Douglas Breithaupt, her partner of five years, and his four high school- and college-aged children. Quayle’s two daughters and one grandson (plus another on the way) live on the East Coast. Quayle is active in Kiwanis and enjoys traveling with Douglas.
