Jamie Johnson

Staff Attorney

Jamie Johnson joined GEI in September, 2024. Jamie graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School in May 2024 with a certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law. Her experiences in law school include serving as Executive Editor for the Environmental Law journal, clerking for Earthrise Law Center and Renewable Northwest, externing in the chambers of Judge Marco Hernández of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, and volunteering with Northwest Environmental Defense Center. Prior to law school, Jamie worked with local governments in the midwest on clean energy and energy efficiency policies, including on behalf of a nonprofit, Center for Energy and Environment, and as an Americorps volunteer serving with the City of Hutchinson, Minnesota. Jamie holds a BA in Political Science from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. In her free time, Jamie enjoys biking, backpacking, gardening, and playing ultimate frisbee.
