Experience being first-gen
I was the first person in my family to choose college instead of the military as a way to economic stability and the hope of a better life. I started at community college and worked two jobs most of my college career to make ends meet. It was really tough. I want first gen students to know you deserve to be here and get all the resources & support you need to be successful!
