My clinical certifications include: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Gambling Addictions Counselor II (CGAC II), and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CADC II). I work as a private practitioner and provide services and supervision at Lewis & Clark Problem Gambling Services as well. My specialties include treating adults and adolescents with concerns related to gambling addiction, internet/technology/gaming addiction, depression, anxiety, shame, and substance use.
My goal is for you to discover ways to embrace your own strengths and wisdom so that you can more effectively work toward sustaining a fulfilling life. Techniques used in our sessions will include: dialogue, mindfulness, visualization, skills building, experiential activities, evidence-based interventions, and workbook tasks. I will often encourage you to complete independent tasks between sessions so that we can more effectively support you in working toward your goals. It is my mission to always provide clients with a warm, empathetic, collaborative environment where meaningful experiences and change can occur.
