(he/him)

Hello! My name is Quinn (he/him) and I am currently a 2nd-year graduate student in the Professional Mental Health Counseling - Specialization in Addictions program at Lewis & Clark. I have been a member of the L&C Problem Gambling Services team for almost a year now, working with individuals and family members who have been negatively affected by gambling addiction. I discovered my passion for counseling through the process of my own recovery—though my undergraduate degree in philosophy speaks to a lifelong interest in exploring the questions and problems of living. I am particularly interested in the field of problem gambling both because I see it as a rapidly growing concern and because of the uniquely central role of money in our daily and fantasy life. I believe that gambling addiction poses unique challenges to individuals and affected loved ones, and that these challenges are best addressed through a holistic approach in moving toward and supporting recovery.
