School Counseling
I was born and raised here in Portland, where I attended Portland Jewish Academy and then Wilson High School. When I was 15 I did a summer exchange program in Mexico City, helping ignite my love of speaking Spanish, which I later pursued by majoring in Latin American Studies at Scripps College in Claremont, California. After graduating I moved to New York City for about 8 years, and worked at an education nonprofit before transitioning to a role as a teaching assistant in an elementary school, where I found my passion for helping students express tough emotions in healthy ways. I returned to Portland in 2019 to study School Counseling at Lewis & Clark, and am currently in my final year of the program.
