School Counseling
Hey, y’all!
I am so excited and thankful that you are interested in Lewis & Clark’s Graduate School Counseling program! I know graduate school during a pandemic can be really daunting as well as a big decision, so I’m here to help you navigate each step of the process!
Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Claire Keepers (she, her, ella pronouns) and I am going to serve as the student ambassador the School Counseling Graduate program this year. I currently work as a school counselor half time at an elementary school, and I also coach for a kids soccer organization on the weekend! My interests include music, fitness, and food.
Three of my most important school counseling values are communication, vulnerability, and advocacy. I believe that the youth we support are not defined by the obstacles they face in life. I hope to help future school school counselors discover their “why” as well as provide a variety of resources to apply to our program.
I can’t wait to meet you!
