David Berman

David Berman BA ’09 moved to Laos with Tom Anderson BA ’09 to work for a small NGO focused on building schools and libraries. He then moved to Phuket, Thailand, to help students who were orphaned by the 2004 tsunami. After that, he joined the British International School, Phuket, where he now serves as the extended curriculum coordinator. A group of his students recently translated an educational program on recycling and waste, which has been introduced to local schools at no cost. Berman, who is married with a soon-to-be 3-year-old, welcomed another child in January 2020.
