Interested in exploring mindfulness and spirituality and increasing your resilience and wellness?

Join us for 8 sessions of Awakened Awareness, a wellness curriculum designed by Dr. Lisa Miller, a neuroscientist from Teachers College, Columbia. Through the use of meditation, journaling, guided visualizations, spiritual concepts, peer to peer and group sharing, delve into tools that are backed by science to improve your well-being.

Each session is 1.5 hrs long, and participants are encouraged to make at least 6 of the 8 sessions, as each build upon the other. The Tuesday cohort meets in lower Flanagan in the Prayer and Meditation Room, and the Thursday cohort, which also has an eco-anxiety focus, will meet in the Gregg Pavilion.

Participants are invited to participate in an optional research component and get paid $35 in gift cards. A pre-participation survey must be completed before the first session.
