Welcome back! First-Year Experience exists to support all new students (first-years and transfers) as they transition to Lewis & Clark. Research shows that getting engaged in campus life within the first six weeks of the semester is important to students’ success. Whether you are new to L&C or returning, what will your co-curricular involvement look like this semester?

We encourage you to check out a club, a sports team, and/or get involved in the community. If you are a new student, stay in touch with your New Student Peer Mentor and participate in your first-year group (FYG) activities. These are great ways to meet new people at the college and explore Portland. And please know we are here to help as well. Both Jonathan (Albany 206) and Melanie (Fowler 110) are happy to check-in with you and help you get connected. Enjoy your semester!

Sincerely,
