Environmental Studies Moves to Albany Quadrangle
This summer, the faculty and staff that make up the Environmental Studies (ENVS) program moved their offices to Albany Room 104.
“For the first time, our whole program (Liz Safran, Jim Proctor, Jessica Kleiss, Alana Rader, and Laura Mundt) will all reside in one common space: on the garden level of the Albany building, just under the Dean’s office,” Associate Professor of Environmental Studies and Director of Environmental Studies Program Jessica Kleiss said. “Come and visit us any time!”
Albany Quadrangle is home to a number of offices and meeting spaces. One of the structures original to the Frank Estate, the building was renovated and expanded in 2002. It is on the National Register of Historic Places. In addition to Environmental Studies, Albany is home to:
- College Advising
- Dovecote Café
- Overseas and Off-Campus Programs
- Student Accessibility
- Undergraduate Dean
“Special thanks to Devan Freeman in the Office of Communications for the wonderful Albany tour video,” Kleiss said. “We particularly want to honor the long-running and excellent programming of Academic English Studies (AES) in this space. Deep thanks also go to many people in Facilities, IT, AES, A&A, and the Dean’s Office who have made this move possible. Thank you all so much!!”
