L&C participates in Multnomah County Library’s Everybody Reads 2022
Join Inclusion & Multicultural Engagement, ONE L&C, and L&C Libraries in reading Multnomah County Library’s Everybody Reads 2022 selection by Mira Jacob, Good Talk: A Memoir in Conversations.
On campus book discussions will be held in early March, including:
Thursday, March 3 at 12:00 in Akin Lounge (LC ID needed to access Residence Hall)
Thursday, March 3 at 3:30 in Watzek Classroom 245 (RSVP for headcount)

This graphic memoir explores the author’s reflections on issues which inform her identity: race, color, sexuality, and love, in conversational form.
Watzek Library has copies of the book for loan and additional copies of the book, eBook, and audiobook can be checked out through Multnomah County Library. There are a number of related community wide events and activities taking place including “An Evening with Mira Jacob” on Thursday, March 10 at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. $10 tickets are available for college students and educators by entering the promo code COLLEGE at the top of the ticketing page.
