OWP Grads Present at Northwest Teaching for Social Justice Conference

Over twenty Pacific Northwest teachers who have participated in Oregon Writing Project classes will present workshops at the upcoming Northwest Teaching for Social Justice Conference in Seattle.

Over twenty Pacific Northwest educators who have participated in Oregon Writing Project classes will present workshops at the 11th Annual Northwest Teaching for Social Justice Conference in Seattle, held at Chief Sealth High School. Over 1500 regional teachers typically attend this day-long event entitled, “Rethinking Our Classrooms, Organizing for Better Schools.”

Workshop presenters included:  Elizabeth Hoover, Emily Armgardt, Ursula Wolfe-Rocca, Jacqueline Fitzgerald, Aarika Elwer, Evan Tyler, Heather Barcan, Valerie Schiller, Angela DiPasquale, Ben Malbin, Gillian Sullivan-Bing, Tim Swinehart, Kevin Marshall, Brady Bennon, Moé Yonamine, Chris Buehler, Michelle Nicola, Kira Hamilton, Kym Condron, Lindsey Spadoni, Blair Hennesy, and OWP Director, Linda Christensen.
