Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership seeking Grant Writer and Environmental Educator

Grant Writer

Salary Range:  $44,300 – $64,300, Full Time Equivalent

Job Classification:  Regular, Exempt 

Minimum Hours Required:  30 Hours Per Week

Supervisor:  Community Relations Manager

The Grant Writer will work as part of the Community Relations team. Primary duties for this position include researching grant opportunities, tracking grant application deadlines, writing grant applications, gathering and preparing grant materials, and submitting grants on time. Environmental Educator

Salary Range:  $46,500 – $66,500, Full Time Equivalent  

Job Classification:  Regular, Exempt 

Hours:  32 Hours Per Week. This position is a 12-month position, with a high likelihood of being extended.

Supervisor:  Community Programs Manager

The Environmental Educator position delivers Estuary Partnership education and community programs. Education programs provide outdoor learning experiences to K-12 students to build science knowledge and improve students’ access to natural areas. The programs involve applying hands-on education activities learned in the classroom while in the field through on-water activities, involvement in a service-learning projects, water quality or macroinvertebrate sampling, nature hikes, etc. Estuary Partnership volunteer plantings and community paddles engage community members in their local watershed to learn about and improve water quality and habitat.  For the full position description, please visit this link:
