Free Summer Employee Fitness Classes

Free to Lewis & Clark employees, these classes are taught by fellow employee volunteers June through August.

Employees can also take free physical education department classes. Check for these on WebAdvisor and check with the instructor for availability.

For available open recreations times in the gym, gym foyer, fitness center/weight room, pool, and other indoor and outdoor facilities, please check the current Facilities Schedule.

Monday
Noon – 1 pm: Cardio tennis

Improve your tennis game in a group lesson format with fun conditioning skills and drills that will keep you moving! Meet in the tennis dome. In order to join the email listserv, please click here and ask to join.

Noon – 1pm: Hiking/Spinning/Aqua Running

Law School Assistant Director of Admissions Natasha Richmond will lead a variety of activities including hiking in Tryon Park, cycle spinning in Pamplin, and Aqua Running in the Zehntbauer Swimming Pavilion (open from noon to 1pm daily). To sign up, email her at natasha@lclark.edu.

Swingercise is taught by Melissa Roane, of the library staff, in the Pamplin Mat Room. For more information, contact Melissa at mroane@lclark.edu.

3pm – 3:45pm: Flow & Go (Yoga)

Law School Associate Director of Development Malari Vandervort teaches this class in the Legal Research Center Faculty Reading Room.
