Volunteers of America Oregon seeks social service volunteers
February 17, 2017
Opportunities are available to volunteer individually, as part of an internship or practicum, or as a group of students.
Volunteers of America Oregon provides a wide range of social services to those most vulnerable in our communities. Some of the programs include child abuse prevention/intervention, compassionate elder care, domestic violence resources and substance abuse treatment for men and women involved in the criminal justice system.
There are opportunities to volunteer in all those programs and more. The volunteer/intern positions are most popular with students in fields such as psychology, social work, early childhood education, nursing, and related subjects.
A complete list of current opportunities is available on the Volunteers of America Oregon website.
Additionally, they are always open to new ideas, especially to meet a student’s learning goals.
