Alumna Jennie Knapp named one of two new assistant principals for Lake Oswego

Lake Oswego School District announced Wednesday that it has filled the open assistant principal slots at its two junior high schools.

Lake Oswego School District announced Wednesday that it has filled the open assistant principal slots at its two junior high schools.

Jennie Knapp, who has been with the Beaverton School District since 2002, will be Lakeridge Junior High’s assistant principal. This winter, she went from fifth-grade teacher to vice principal at Bonny Slope Elementary School.

“I am thrilled to accept the position of assistant principal at Lakeridge Junior High School,” said Knapp, who earned her bachelor’s in water resource management from Syracuse University, a master’s in teaching from Lewis & Clark College and is working on an education specialist degree from Lewis & Clark.
