Daniel Timmons ’12

Daniel Timmons ’12 lives, works, and plays in Portland, where he relocated from the Arizona high desert to attend Lewis & Clark Law School. Daniel received his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Columbia University, and his Master’s of Science in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Northern Arizona University. Prior to entering law school, Daniel worked as a Water Resources Specialist in both local government and the private sector.

Currently, Daniel works for Marten Law, an environmental boutique law firm, where his practice focuses on water and energy law. He writes frequently for his firm’s newsletter, and is an editorial board member and a frequent contributor to theWestern Water Law & Policy Reporter. Daniel joined the Recent Graduate Council in 2014.

Daniel lives in North Portland with his wife, Susan, and enjoys many essentials of the Pacific Northwest lifestyle, including gardening, cooking, hiking and camping.
