We will read poetry and essays to foster conversations and facili tate our own writing. Throughout the workshop\, we will acknowledge and e mbrace all the women who came before us\, as we plan how to sustain and t ransform the strength of these past experiences into our work as women an d as educators. In this workshop\, participants will:Connect with other women of color who understand the complexity of navigating diverse roles in diverse settings\; Write a narrative exploring our past and present e xperiences to define our through-line for what we do and why we do it\; Develop a lesson plan based on an idea or strategy presented during sessi ons.
