[Online] Deepening Alignment to our Values, Principles & Practices: A Retreat for Courage and Renewal Facilitators

Date: 1:00pm PDT June 26 Location: Online

Now, in this place, we take time out of time to look back, to see where we have been and what we have been, to reflect on what we have learned thus far on our journey. We gather together to remind each other to see our True north, and to encourage–to place courage in–one another.
- Barbara Rohde

This Courage to Lead retreat is designed specifically for Courage and Renewal facilitators wishing to come together to explore diversity, equity and belonging as it relates to our work within the multitude of diverse communities we serve around the world.

This unique retreat offers participants the:

  • space to tend to your own formation and invest in your growth
  • time to reconnect to one’s identity and integrity as a Courage Facilitator; identifying and honoring gifts & strengths, and acknowledging our limits, questions and challenges.
  • powerful inquiry about how diversity, equity, and inclusion can happen in the safe and confidential context of a Circle of Trust.
  • time to listen and think deeply about our CCR Policies and Practices as they apply to equity and belonging in our circles
  • space to deepen our conversation with ourselves and our colleagues, through activities and reflections.
  • opportunity to practice deep listening and respectful speaking, strengthening one’s life and facilitation skills.

This retreat will take place in a quiet, comfortable spot of your choosing, where you can be “in retreat” for a few hours each day. Participants will need a journal, a reliable internet connection, and access to the Zoom (audio/video) application. A list of additional materials you may want/need throughout the weekend will be emailed in advance of the retreat date.
