A new ESOL Endorsement cohort is forming now in the North Clackamas school district. Join us for an information session to learn more about our program, the off-campus and partially online course format, and reduced tuition rate. Light snacks provided.
Lewis & Clark’s ESOL Endorsement coursework is designed for teachers and administrators holding an Oregon teaching license who wish to reinforce their skills and knowledge to better serve students acquiring English as a second language.
Program components are tailored to give participants the opportunity to grapple with issues involving diversity, educational equity, and English-language learning.
The complete 14-semester hour program consists of four courses and a practicum focusing on principles, theories, and research relevant to the needs of students acquiring English as a second language.
“This program has changed the way I teach. I am now more aware of my students’ individual needs. I use a variety of teaching strategies throughout the school day, and I have a greater focus on their home lives.”
- K-12 teacher and ESOL Endorsement Program graduate
