Open Dialogue for Transgender and Gender Nonconforming K-12 Educators
Date: 6:30pm - 8:00pm PDT May 15, 2018 Location: Lewis & Clark Campus
Lewis & Clark Campus
We invite transgender and gender nonconforming educators in the Greater-Portland and SW Washington-area for an opportunity to gather and share their experiences surrounding working in the K-12 school system.
This will be an open conversation guided by attendees, with the hope of providing a support network for fellow transgender and gender nonconforming educators, including ways to we can better advocate for safer schools alongside our allies.
Retired educators and current graduate students working toward education-related degrees are also welcome to attend.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Please note: While we appreciate the support of our allies, this event is meant for transgender and gender nonconforming educators only. We hope to incorporate allies in future discussions.
Do you live outside of Portland but would like to be a part of the conversation? Submit your email below to receive updates on possible remote participation options for future discussions.
