      Jane Levy JD ’04, MA ’11 was appointed by New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez to Division XXV of the 2nd Judicial District Court in Bernalillo County. Levy has advocated for New Mexico families for over 10 years. She has also been a volunteer for organizations that help domestic abuse victims and the homeless.

      Justin Lieuallen, who completed his superintendent licensure program at the graduate school in 2012, is the new principal of Silverton (Oregon) High School. Lieuallen lives in Amity, Oregon, with his wife, Debbie, and three children.

      Jeremiah Patterson EdD ’12 was named assistant superintendent of the Gladstone (Oregon) School District.

      David Marshall EdS ’15 is the new human resources director for Hermiston School District in Oregon. Previously he was assistant superintendent for the Milton-Freewater Unified School District, also in Oregon.

      Melissa Wilk MAT ’15 received a 2016 Fulbright Award. She plans to study the acquisition of second languages in La Rioja, Spain.

      Amy Straw ’16, after earning her initial administrator’s license through Lewis & Clark’s Graduate School of Education and Counseling, has joined Fir Ridge Campus in Portland as its interim principal. Straw joined the David Douglas School District in 2006 as a special education teacher, and she was named department chair in 2010.
