2nd Annual Oregon Alliance for Multilingual Multicultural Education (AMME) Institute
Date: January 18 2013 8:30am - January 19 2013 3:30pm Location: Templeton Campus Center - Templeton Campus Center
This institute is designed for teachers and administrators engaged in the work of raising achievement for all students through the application of bilingual and culturally responsive pedagogy.
Day 1 will focus on leadership for educational equity. Both policy and pedagogy will be discussed. Our featured keynoter speaker and presenter will be Mr. Ramón González, principal at M.S. 223 in the South Bronx, NY.
Day 2 will focus on teaching and learning in a culturally and linguistically responsive classroom. Presenters will be local teachers with skills and techniques to share with practitioners and leaders.
