Teachers Sharing Their Work: Writing Proposals to Present at Conferences
Date: December 6 2012 5:00pm - 6:30pm Location: South Chapel - Lewis & Clark Graduate Campus
This workshop has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
We know so many teachers who are doing innovative and important work with their students. Who better to teach others about what is possible in classrooms? Presenting at conferences is both a generous act and a wonderful opportunity to learn more about your own classroom by deciding how to share it.
This workshop will provide examples and strategies for writing proposals that get accepted by local and national conferences. We have timed this workshop to be practical for the due dates for many conferences (often January). On-going support will be offered for teachers who start a proposal draft at this workshop.
Instructors: Andie Cunningham, M.A.T., and Ruth Shagoury, Ph.D.
