Graduate Campus Parking and Transportation
Parking permits and vehicle registration are required beginning September 5th, 2017. You may register your car and purchase a daily or semester e-permit at the Transportation and Parking site.
Day parking permits are available from the parking pass machine located in the parking lots. The machines will take credit cards and cash. The cost of a daily parking pass purchased between the hours of 7:00am and 3:00pm is $5.00; a daily permit purchase after 3:00pm is $3.00. The parking pass machine will automatically charge these amounts according to the time of day the pass is purchased.
Complete transportation and parking information may be viewed at the Transportation and Parking website. For inquiries and requests concerning transportation and parking, please call the Transportation and Parking office at (503) 768-7857 or email email@example.com.
Parking on all campuses (Grad, Law and CAS) is a challenge during the school year. We have only 1,338 spaces available for over 2,500 students and approximately 700 full time faculty and staff. Purchasing a parking permit will not guarantee you a parking space. Consider using an alternative way to get to campus such as Trimet, Pioneer Express Shuttle, carpooling, biking, or walking.
Vehicle Registration, Parking Permits, and Bus Passes
Please visit the online Transportation and Parking permit system for vehicle registration, parking permits, and bus passes.
Do not park on the street outside the Graduate Campus or you may get ticketed by the City of Portland and/or Lewis & Clark.
Pioneer Express Shuttle
Lewis & Clark offers a free shuttle to all LC students, staff and faculty. You can access a current shuttle schedule here.
The college does subsidize the TriMet All Zone pass. The cost of the All Zone pass is $100.00/month. The college provides a 75% subsidy for the cost of the All Zone pass. Daily trip tickets are also available but are not subsidized. For more information, visit the Trimet section of the Transportation and Parking website.
TriMet’s website is http://www.trimet.org. TriMet bus #39 runs to the Graduate campus.
Riding your bike? Or Carpooling?
Bike racks and day use lockers are available in the covered breezeway between York Graduate Center and Corbett House, in front of Rogers Hall. Please bring your own locks. The lockers are available for day use only; please remove contents each day.
Lewis & Clark encourages carpooling and discounts the cost of an annual parking pass. Carpool matching is available here.
