Graduate Campus Parking and Transportation

Beginning December 10, 2015 until January 18, 2016 parking permits are and vehicle registration are not required.   Parking regulations will continue to be enforced including parking in reserved spaces (loading zones, fire lanes, handicap spaces and unregistered vehicles) Monday through Friday.  Please note that Faculty/Staff parking is reserved from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for individuals who display a Faculty/Staff parking tag. The West and East Loop parking lots are open to all valid permit holders at all hours. Parking is not enforced on the Graduate Campus on weekends.

Undergraduate Campus or Law School Campus parking regulations:  Parking permits are not required starting December 10, 2015 through January 18, 2016.  All parking  regulations will continue to be enforced.  Follow posted signage regarding available parking spaces.

Day parking permits are available from the Parking Pass machine located in the parking lots.  The machines will take credit cards and cash.  The cost of a daily parking pass purchased between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. is $4.00.  Parking after 4:00 p.m. costs $2.00.  The parking pass machine will automatically charge these amounts according to the time of day the pass is purchased.  All day passes must have the vehicle license number written in ink in order to be valid. 

Daily parking passes for $4.00 and $2.00 may also be purchased in advance from Student and Departmental Account Services or Campus Safety.  Annual passes can be purchased from the Student and Departmental Account Services or through the Transportation and Parking page of the Lewis and Clark website.

Daily and evening visitor permits are now available on line!

Vehicle Registration,  Parking Permits, and Bus passes

Parking permits and vehicle registration are required Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. beginning January 19, 2016.  All vehicles must be registered.  Vehicle registration, parking permits,  bus passes (daily, evening, temporary parking permits) can be done through ePermit.  For more information,  please see Transportation and Parking website. 

Do not park on the street outside the Graduate Campus or you may get ticketed by the City of Portland and/or Lewis & Clark!

Pioneer Express Shuttle

Lewis & Clark offers a free shuttle to all LC students, staff and faculty.   15.   Full service will resume January 9, 2016. The detailed timetable and stop locations are provided below, on the Bark, or may be accessed via Fleetmatic’s Mobile App. You can access a current shuttle schedule here.

The shuttle stop at 6th at Salmon will be moved one block east to 521 SW Salmon beginning January 20. This change is required by the City’s transportation bureau.

Airport Shuttle

The Pioneer Express will operate according to the regular schedule through December 18.  Shuttle service between Templeton and Portland Airport will be provided Wednesday, Dec 16 and Thursday, Dec 17.   If you have other question, please call 503-768-7857.

TriMet Tickets

The college does subsidize the TriMet All Zone pass. The cost of the All Zone pass is $100.00/month.  The college provides a 50% subsidy for the cost of the All Zone pass.  Daily trip tickets are also available but are not subsidized.  All Zone trip tickets cost $25 per book of 10.  For more information, visit the Transportation and Parking website.

TriMet’s web site is . TriMet bus #39 runs to Graduate campus. Lewis & Clark encourages carpooling and discounts the cost of an annual parking pass. Carpool applications are available here.

Riding your bike? Or Carpooling?

Bike racks and day use lockers are available in the covered breezeway between York Graduate Center and Corbett House, in front of Rogers Hall. Please bring your own locks. The lockers are available for day use only; please remove contents each day.
