Announcements and Important Dates

Change in Mileage Reimbursement Rate:  Effective June 1, 2011, the College has increased the mileage reimbursement rate to $0.51/mile.  Requests for reimbursement must be submitted within 60 days of the expenditure.

New Smoking Policy:  As of August 2011, smoking at Lewis & Clark has been limited to 13 designated smoking areas (DSA).  Click here for an updated map of the DSA locations.  For more information about the smoking policy, please visit the DSA website.

From the Office of Transportation and Parking regarding a change in the Pioneer Express Pick Up/Drop Off at Pioneer Square:  The closest the City is permitting the Pioneer Express to pick up/drop off riders is at 636 SW Salmon Street (at Starbucks).  We know this is a significant change and an inconvenience to our riders, and we sincerely apologize for this as well as the timing of this notice.  We are continuing to work with the City in hopes of securing a closer location, but for the time being riders should plan on using the 636 SW Salmon location to ride the Pioneer Express.

Pioneer Express Shuttle Update

Shuttle service resumed Monday, January 9, 2012.  Starting January 17, 2012 there will be a Pioneer Express shuttle stop at the new Graduate School Community Counseling Center.
Trimet has approved the Pioneer Express shuttle to use Trimet stops 172 and 173 to deliver counseling psychology students and others to the new Graduate School Community Counseling Center on Barbur Boulevard (4445 SW Barbur Blvd) during designated hours. The southbound stop (headed to Lewis & Clark from the clinic) is located at the corner of SW Barbur and Hamilton. The clinic stop is located at the intersection of SW Barbur and Hamilton (one on each side of Barbur). Shuttle service to this stop is limited to the following times:

Southbound (to Lewis & Clark) - 8:16am, 12:24pm, 4:29pm, and 9:45pm.
Northbound (from Lewis & Clark) - 8:50am, 12:56pm, 5:00pm, and 9:27pm.
