My undergraduate GPA is less than the 2.75 minimum GPA requirement. Can I still apply?
Yes, you may still apply. When reviewing applications, faculty members read transcripts carefully and thoughtfully. They will look for when the poorer grades were earned and in which courses. i.e. Did the student experience a poor first year adjustment? Where the poor grades earned in the major? Is the transcript over 15 years old and the student has done well at community colleges or in post-baccalaureate work? We suggest you include a letter of explanation with your application. We also recommend that you contact your program of interest to discuss if there are ways to strengthen your application.
