Do letters of recommendation need to come directly from the writer or can I send them to the graduate admissions office?

It depends on the arrangements you have made with your recommenders. Letters can be sent either from the letter writer or from the applicant. If the writers choose to be responsible for submitting their letters, please provide them with a stamped, addressed envelope. Also, letters can be faxed, or scanned and emailed directly to the graduate admissions office.
