Ali brothers show their legal mettle in the Marines

Mika’il and Salahuddin Ali graduated in 2011 and have since become JAG attorneys

The Marine Corps couldn’t have chosen two better men than identical twins Mika’il and Salahuddin Ali ’11 to feature in its latest promotional video for the Judge Advocate General (JAG) program. After graduating from Lewis & Clark in 2011, the brothers went on to join JAG’s elite officer training program. Mika’il was featured in the fall 2016 issue of the law school’s alumni magazine, the Advocate, after being named an ABA Top 40 Young Lawyer. He most recently served as a legal advisor for the Joint Task Force in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and is now completing an LLM degree through George Mason University to gain expertise in international cyberspace security. Salahuddin focuses on ethics and government regulation and works with the Marine’s Wounded Warrior Regiment
