We have some IMPORTANT updates concerning the Student Health Service that we want you to be aware of.
- NSO Clinic Hours We will be open for urgent care only on a first come first service basis: Thursday August 28th 1:00pm - 3:30pm Friday August 29th 10:00am - 11:30am and 1:00pm - 3:30pm
- Measles vaccine requirement Oregon law requires that all students be immunized against measles (MMR) or qualify for either a non-medical or medical exemption. Student who have not met the measles (MMR) vaccine requirement will experience a registration HOLD. Registration holds will be placed Thursday at 1pm. Students can bring their vaccine records to the Student Health Service or have their records faxed to 503 768-7167. Bess will be in the registrar office Thursday evening from 7pm - 10pm to receive records, release holds and answer questions.
- Patient scheduling: The Student Health Service will no longer have Walk-in Clinic or walk-in hours each morning during the academic year. Students will be seen by appointment. Same day or next day appointments should be regularly available. Students can call 503 768-7165 or come by the clinic to make an appointment. However, if a student needs to be seen immediately for example because of an injury or an asthma flare we would of course see that student without an appointment. Students can choose a time to be seen that fits their schedule avoiding the long waits in the Walk-in Clinic.
We wish you all the best during this academic year.
