United Way of the Columbia-Willamette is seeking an Early Learning Senior Manager to convene and lead the Washington County Early Learning Community Hub in partnership with staff from the Washington County Dept. of Health/Human Services. Play a convening and facilitating role for the Hub – building trust and strong relationships with diverse stakeholders; facilitating planning, decisions, and action; fostering constant communication; connecting and aligning strategies and resources; and cultivating an environment that measures and makes progress on identified outcomes through the use of shared data, measurement, and accountability. Will split time between Washington County satellite office (in Public Services Building in Hillsboro) and United Way office in downtown Portland. Minimum five years of increasingly responsible experience working in a relevant human service field; Bachelor’s Degree; or a Master’s Degree and two years’ experience; or a comparable combination of experience and education. Project management skills and experience. Existing understanding of and experience working within the Early Learning community. Experience in Washington County preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with the Latino/Hispanic community. Bilingual Spanish/English speaker preferred. Hiring Range: $52,163 to $63,900. Position closes 9/7/14 or when filled.
