Free environmental protection films at the Lake Theater

The Lake Oswego Sustainability Advisory Board and the Lake Oswego Sustainability Network are co-sponsoring four free films at the Lake Theater in September with an environmental protection theme. Water Blues Green Solutions will be shown at 5 p.m. on September 7, FernGully (a children’s movie) will be shown at 2 p.m. on September 14, Chasing Ice will be shown at 5 p.m. on September 21, and Vanishing of the Bees will be shown at 2 pm on September 28.
The Lake Oswego Adult Community Center is hosting three classes in its Adult Center Academy on sustainability issues from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on three Saturdays in September—The Icarus Dilemma: Climate Change on September 13, The Wealth Gap: Is a Revolution in our Future on September 20, and Money Can’t Buy You Love: Wellbeing & Happiness on September 27.
