SOLVE is excited to announce that we are now accepting project applications for the 2014 Beach and Riverside Cleanup!

In celebration of the event’s 30th Anniversary, National Public Lands Day and the International Coastal Cleanup, projects will take place statewide on September 27, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In addition, projects involving students will happen the week before and the week after the Saturday event.

SOLVE supports projects that engage volunteers in Oregon and SW Washington in one of four main areas:

  1. Cleanup of litter and illegal dumpsites
  2. Invasive plant removal
  3. Native tree and shrub planting
  4. Watershed maintenance and monitoring activities

A limited number of Beach & Riverside Cleanup projects may receive a maximum reimbursement of up to $100 to cover qualifying project expenses.
