Faculty to present on ecotherapy at the 2013 APA Convention

Attending the APA convention in Honolulu this summer? Faculty from Lewis & Clark’s Ecopsychology in Counseling Certificate program are scheduled to present.

Thomas Doherty, Ecopsychology in Counseling Certificate Program Co-Director and President-elect of American Psychology Association’s (APA) Division 34, The Society of Environmental, Population, and Conservation Psychology, and adjunct faculty Patricia Hasbach will present at the Annual Convention of the American Psychological Association which will be held Honolulu, Hawai’i, July 31-August 4, 2013

Thomas is the chair of the symposium Surfing and Psychology— Surfers’ Experience, Identity, and Empowerment in Context. Thomas is also the discussant for the the session: Design of the Psychotherapist’s Office—Lessons From Research and Experience

Patricia will present a skill-building session, Emerging Trends in Ecotherapy, which will offer attendees specific ways to integrate ecotherapy practices into their traditional office setting.
