Elected SUN representatives enjoy many benefits for their service su ch as recognition\, helping to bring activities and programming to the st udent body that fosters social change and growth\, valuable experience th at can be cited on a resume\, and a tuition \;waiver for two \;semester-hour credits.
To be eligible to run for a SUN representative electi on this spring\, you must 1) be a graduate student in the Counseling Psyc hology department 2) plan to be continually enrolled as a graduate studen t throughout the next academic year either part-time or full-time\, 3) be in good academic standing and disciplinary standing with the College\, a nd 4) not have any conflict of interest that will prohibit you from fulfi lling your duties as a SUN representative (roles and responsibilities of SUN representatives are provided below).
