Are you seeking to live your life as you age with creativity\, purpose\, and authenticity? If y ou're asking such questions\, or ones like them\, then come join us to ex plore "That Magic Time" in your life. This metaphor (also known as the "m agic hour") comes from the world of film and photography and refers to th e transitional time on the edges of the day\, such as the period just aft er sunrise and before sunset. These are times when the slanting light ill uminates the world with clarity and warmth and allows us to see into the shadows. Using this imagery\, we can see and understand our lives in a d ifferent light\, now that we are no longer in the direct glare of the bus y-ness of mid-day\, or mid-life. \;We can use this newfound understan ding of ourselves and our lives to guide us as we age. Inspired by the w ork of Parker J. Palmer (Let Your Life Speak: Listening for the Voice of Vocation and A Hidden Wholeness: The Journey Toward an Undivided Life)\, a group of no more than 24 participants will gather in a "circle of trust " to create a safe and trustworthy space for reflection and discernment. We'll use storytelling\, poems and passages from various wisdom tradition s\, journaling\, the arts\, and conversation in small and large groups. This experiential session offers you an opportunity to:Identify the stepp ingstones walked on your journey to this stage of life Explore the natur e of transition Re-discover your personal gifts and take future guidance from them Consider your possible creative growth edges and horizons En gage with others holding similar questions for their lives\, listening de eply to their stories with compassion\, as they also listen deeply to you rs Who should attend?
